Thread: 7 weeks flowering, last week rec. 18/6

i have a tent with 10 plants that are 7 weeks into flower. i'm using a 600w hps with 6 cfl's in the room. last week i accidently pluged 2 of the cfl's into a circuit that is running 18/6. so basicly 2 cfl's have been turning on 4 hours early and turning off 2 hours late.

tomorow i'm pulling one of the plants cause it's "looking weird" and might be a hermie. the other plants still look good but they already had fairly large buds so i'm not sure how to tell if they got polinated.

can a hermie polinate the rest of the garden within 1 week of stress? do you think the other plants wil be hermies. i'm guessing that 4 of the plants should be ready for harvest in 2 weeks and the rest in 3 weeks as long as the light stress doesn't slow it down. what would you guys do?

i'm so depressed.......time to get high

Does the plant that "looks wierd " have pollen sacks?? If so, ado you know if they were open before you removed th plant from your tent?? If you look closely at the internode there will be little balls if its a male, and they will pop after maturing enough and spread pollen to other females in the area.. If you have a male and the pollen sacks were open, chances are you will knock up at least any flowers from a nearby female and any touching it, if you have good air flow and lots of air movement in your tent then chances are you wiill have lots of seeds this harvest.

Im sorry, i just noticed.. I referred to your hermies as "males" in my reply. Sorry about that, dont want to be inaccurate.

i took some pics but they turned out shitty.heres the decent ones. 2 are of a bud i cut off the weird looking plant. i'm going to take more pics and post them tonight. i've never used this camera before and it has a lot of settings than my old one. should i use the macro settings?

ok pix are kinda fuzzy, but that does look somewhat wierd.. but might be the calyxes.. do you know what a calyx is?? if so can you identify it and decide if those "balls" are the calyx?? if they are not the calyx, then most likely you gotta hermie and if the pollen sacks were open while the plant was in the tent with females, then you will get some seeds.. try and take some clearer close up shots.. of the balls and near some internodes.. Macro is good for close up.. within like 2-5 inches of the object i think.. i just gotta new cam too.. ridiculous amount of buttons/settings to figure out hahaha. good luck!!!!!

thanks for the advice sensi. one plant did go hermie so i got rid of it. i'm pretty sure i caught it before it released pollen and i tried taking more pics but they still turned out a bit blurry. since the plants will be ready within 1-3 weeks i think everything is going to turn out pretty good.
