I am making marijuana tea (bhang).. the question: Where should i cut the leaves.. at the stem.. (the whole branch thing)... or the area where the leaves fan out???

In jorge cervantes book he says to cut as close to the stem as possible to reduce the risk of infection. So that being said i would cut the branch.

Or are you using the resin covered leaves that comes out the buds??

i am debating whether to use the fan leaves... or the leaves next to the buds... i think the fan leaves... cutting next to the bud could potentially slow down the bud growing process...
