Does this look like mold or soap scum? (HD pics)

I had to flush one of my flowering plants in my shower last night. I thought I did a pretty good job not getting the plant wet and just the soil. I flushed ca 2 hours into the "day" so it had ca 10 hours to dry in the room before the lights went off. I noticed that just one of the tops had this white stuff on it. Now my thinking is that it's unlikely mold would have grown within 12 hours when the oscillating fan was blowing on the plant all night. The only other thing I can come up with is that I got some soap on the top when I was turning her in the shower and it dried white. Have a look and tell me what you guys think please. I can take more pictures if needed. I know it's kind of hard to see.

So nobody knows?
My guess it is powdery mildew and yes it can grow even with the fan blowing directly on them. High ph water can stop it on spots but it is a bastard to get rid of if you are totally infected. If the high ph water don't knock it out the there are various ways to combat it. from flooding the area with a few thousand ppm ozone scock treatment or 30% milk water solution a product by safergrow called mildew cure. It took me over a year to get rid of the powdery mild attack that I had too bleach water everything in the room plus all of the above I think the ozone generator did the trick in the end.Hitman40

So I guess I should cut that whole top off the plant? That sucks that would have been a half ounce bud probably. Any other ideas?

I dont see anything wrong with those plants? Are you sure you are not just seeing trichs?

The plant was showing signs of N deficiency which didn't get any better with additional nutes. Then the top leaves started curling down so I figured it was nutrient lockup. Usually I solve that by flushing and starting a new nute regimen.

I looked at the leaves with a magnifying scope and it looks like there is something white on it, and it doesn't look like trichomes. The lights are off right now and I can't go in there to take pics like that obviously.

This is one of the above pics just cropped. Still kind of hard to see, I'll have to take another pic with some more natural lighting when the lights come on.

Here's another pic with the flash on this time. Now that I am looking at it again, it does look like maybe some smashed trichomes or something. What do you guys think?

It does not look like WPM to me but I could be wrong. I have been batteling a rough case of it lately. What's up with your leaf tips curling in? Did you over nute them?

Yep, that's why I flushed her. I haven't seen it spread, so I assume it's probably just something that got on there when I put her in my shower.

Came across this article today, turns out it was trichomes. Specifically bulbous trichomes, which are the smallest ones.
