Simple question about growing in an attic...
When i go up in my attic it is kinda hard to breath because of the insulation on the floor of the attic, would that be bad for the plants?

It's not the best. You really need to have it in a covered/contained area. An enclosed area is best for an attic so you can filter the intake and control the temp. a lot more easily. You'll find small fibers all over your plants if it's not covered. Do you really want to smoke that shit?

I'm not sure, but, it might not be a good idea to have it sticking all over the trichs when the plants are late in bloom, because i don't think you'd want to smoke that stuff.

good point, do you think if i divided the attic in a corner so that it was enclosed, would that help? im short on $$ and cant really afford a carbon scrubber to filter the air

Yea, that will help a lot. Just make sure that you can control the temp to some degree. If there is any way you can filter the intake air that would be good.
You don't always need a carbon filter with attic grows in the winter unless you're doing a lot of plants. The cool air this time of year keeps the smell down. It's always better to have one though.
At one point, I had an attic grow and I positioned my box to exhaust about 2ft away from the ridgecap vent so it never built up, and went straight out of the vent. This isn't the best thing if you live in a neighborhood, but if you have a little space between your and your neighbors, it works pretty well.

Yeah, that should work. Try using some cut up pantyhose as filters, if you use any type of air inlets and outlets.

Im thinkin of just hangin some sheets up as dividers, if i enclosed it completely, would that conceal the smell?

Hmm....I don't think the sheets will do a whole lot, or maybe just a little. The enclosure will help more than anything. It's some pretty strong smelling stuff ya know, and will be hard to eliminate without any filters. I think you better invest in some incense, then keep everybody away from the attic.LOL
