Yeah sounds like the light is too close. Even a 150 watt hps puts out a good amount of heat. 20 to 30 inches should be good.

18 inches should be the best 20 to 30 inches way too far away a 150 watt does not have that much penetration i keep my 400 watter 18 inches away and dont have a problem

I cant see any pic but have personally devolved into using a few CFL's for clone sized on through veg. I dont break out the big guns till it time to bloom. Not that a 150 HPS is a big gun by any means. I use a 400 for blooming and start the babies about 5 feet away from it and bring them on up slowly. It easier for me to move the plants than it is the light.

it may not just be direct light issues, whats ur overall room temp, if ur not venting correctly it could be overall heat build up.

well it feels like its about 75-80 degrees in the room and i have a fan working full time but can someone tell me how to post a pic i have a built in camera on my laptop thanks for the advice i have a white widow i have in the paper towel and i want to post the pics when i plant it thanks
