I have 15 seeds I am trying to germ. I soaked the rockwool in a light general hydro solution andpopped the seeds in. I then put all the rockwools into a rubbermaid container with a clear lid. I leave them under a 250 watt cfl 24-7. two of them sprang up right away, nothing from the others, any tips?

welcome to the forum. uhh..I have heard of some folks doing this, not germinating the seeds, just planting them. Now you know why some folks germinate them first. Not all seeds are viable seeds. The first ones I germinated where bag seeds and I went through around 200 to get 15 that cracked and grew. Woulda wasted a lot of rockwool. Also the new seeds are not ready for the nutes. The new tap root will get burned by the nutes. I don't feed any kind of nute till the 3rd node is on the plant. Straight water to begin with and after it pops some light cfl and so on. Good luck!
