Default Freind or Foe????
Just wondering, I was checking my girls today and found a ladybird on one of my plants. I took it off and checked the rest and all was clear. Then a later I started to think did i do the right thing to remove it???

So it over to the experts "Are Ladybirds freind or foe"???? "to my grow"???

Forgot to say it's a indoor grow (in the shed) with a bubbler under a 400w hps and three weeks into flowering.

they're herbivores, so I'd take it off.

gotta love the over supply of misinformation on this site at times. actually, ladybugs are not herbivores, they eat things such as spider mites (which are herbivores) and are used quite successfully as pest control in grow rooms and gardens around the world.

Default yep
Yep! Ontario had a problem with some tiny critters so the government flew in millions of ladybugs to keep down the population.
The only thing was, these little buggers bit. OUCH!!! But generally speaking ladybugs are friend, not foe.

Ladybirds are the correct name but in the states usualy called ladybugs. They sell these to add to your garden they are a preditor and help control pests. It hard to find the good old native pink and black one since all the introduced japanees orange and black one here now but they get bigger and eat more and have taken over.Good guys though
