i cant get any pics guys im sorry, cameras are not good enough

i see the buggers,in my tent, zip about sometimes, they look like really small white moths

the larvae are barely 1mm long little worms, and when ive just gone and checked today, there was loads of them on1 of my easyryders fan leaves,so just now ive turned the light off and spray safed them all,but i dont know exactly what they are

im trying to find out but no luck yet

when i spray they dissapear for a while, then they come straight back

im just wondering if this jogs anyones memory,as in they know what they are/had them

just had another look online, looks like thrips for sure

they look like that, not found a good picture of the adults tho,but that looks exactly like them

and i have seen the shiny residue that it talks about here once or twice

(Accompanies picture)

Thrips are also very, very small and go easily unnoticed. Thrips are also sap suckers. One clue that you have them is the spots of shiny residue they leave on your leaves after feeding on sap. Unlike mites, which are basically round, thrips are oval...the shape of a very tiny grain of rice. They do not tend to gather together in the numbers that spider mites achieve.

Never had a problem with thrips (Knock on wood) but you usually need to apply a pesticide at least 2-3 times. Most pesticides don't kill the eggs so you need to understand the life cycle of these pests in order to be able to effectively combat them. Usually applications spread out at 5-7 day intervals is sufficient to disrupt the reproductive cycle of most pests. :leaf:

I have never had experance with the bugs you talk about, but I have the cure. Its fast easy and no bull shit. No pest strips.... So its your call boss.... Fuck around with other shit trying to get rid of thim, or no pest strips and they are gone in a couple of days and for ony 7 -8 bucks.

damn buggers, everything was going pretty much fine until they came along, just saw all these little worms while i was having a good close gander(as you do),i was like 'WTF!!!'

like i said,i can see the white colored adults, one or 2,zip about when i spray sometimes,so i try to spray tons where ever i saw em lol,im in tent shouting 'DIE DIE DIE!!!'

i would have loved to have had a filtered air intake from outside, but alas, didnt have the extra cash at the time, definately doing this
