hey, new to the forum. haven't really needed to post, as most info is found thru search...
anyhow, can anyone tell me whether or not leaves recover once a deficiency is corrected and if not, should i go ahead and remove the leaves, or allow them to die completely and fall off on their own. |

hey diddy,
have just been wondering the same thing myself - have a look at the end of this thread : Newbie grower getting a bit concerned From what I can see, damaged leaves do NOT recover. I just cut off the dead parts of my damaged leaves as suggested and i completely removed the severely damaged leaves. Apparently damaged leaves are more inviting to disease/pests. Good luck.

depends on the deficiency and how badly the leaves are damaged.... a simple N deficiency can be fixed and they will green up once they recover... but magnesium and iron deficiencies damage leaves pretty bad and they do not recover... what you do is look for no signs of deficiency in the new growth... good luck... hope that helps
