my babies are well into flowering,how long exactly, im not too sure. yesterday i found a lil spider web (egg sac?) inside my top cola. whats the best solution for me at my stage of the game? oh and any help identifying this strain would be greatly appreciated. can rootlock appear as a nitrogen defficiency ?

That late into flower the only thing I'd use is isopropyl alcohol + water (50/50). It evaporates immediately, but still I'd be careful to not totally drench the buds - spray leaves heavily, buds lightly.

thanks Leothwyn, when should i do that? before lights go out, at night? or is it ok during the 'day'. and would lady bugs help? +rep for takin time to steer me in the right direction

It evaporates so quickly that you probably would be fine doing it with the lights on. You could shake off any droplets that you see sitting on leaves to avoid burning. I've done it with lights on with no problem.
I haven't tried ladybugs, but I imagine if you had a nice population of them, you'd start killing them off along with mites by spraying alcohol.

Being so far along, you can't really get very drastic with treatments. So, the best you can do is to keep them at bay.
When you start a new run, clean your room and pots really well with bleach water and get rid of your old soil. Then I'd recommend starting out next time with a couple of hotshot no-pest strips in your room for two weeks. Keep ventilation minimal during that time so the mites don't get much of a break from the fumes.
