Hello, I've had two Alaskan-Ice plants in flowering for 7 weeks now. The smallest one looks normal and is producing bud. However the larger of the two is looking very odd and retarded. I have no idea why. It's had the same nutes, water, lighting, ventilation as the smaller one yet it has ended up this way? Anyone have any plants looking like this?

Hate to tell you this but, I hope you wanted some seeds because It looks like the big one is a male. Your smaller one, the female, is probably getting polliated. Take a close up picture of the big one so we can say for sure.

Ahhhhhh shit, i had an inkling i just didnt want to believe it. I hoped the slow growth of bud was a strain characteristic. Cheers guys, here are some slightly closer photos, but the light messes with the camera so i will get a few real close-ups when the light is off. Shall i burn the fucker or plant it somewhere in a forest and get some seeds? x

Whats up with the single bladed leaves?

Yeah its covered in the white hairs which led me to believe its female, and i cant see any sacks that a male would have, i also have no idea why the top has single bladed leaves- maybe not enough light at the top............................................... .....This plant is just plain retarded.

I have a retarded plant as wlll. It looks like it was topped or fim'd (it wasn't), and split in 3 then the 3 grew up then fused back together, and grew out again in different directions. At that point of the stalk it is 3 times wider as the bottom and you can clearly see the 3 fused together. I'll post a pic in my current journal later if you wanna see. I hope its a female though cuz i think ill get several colas naturally. Wierd but cool looking.

I'm pretty sure its not male, just retarded growth. Really slow bud production. I think i'll keep it under 12/12 for a while and if the buds don't fatten up i will chuck it out. Anyone had a plant that takes way over 7 weeks to finish flowering?
