Default howza boutza thisza?
First of all, I appreciate the help I've been receiving so far from people when I ask a question about my plants - so thank you guys for helping novices like me out.

Anyhow, here is another plant problem I've been having. It effects old growth.. It literally came up in like one or two days this bad on the plant you see here. The leaves were all a rich dark green but then the lowest (living) set of fan leaves turned a really strong yellow.

The only thing that I can think of that I did different in the days before it happened was started to give some of my plants more potassium (since someone informed me that one of my plants had a potassium deficiancy - which I believe was correct too, by the way).

But this yellowing to me really doesn't look like TOO MUCH of anything - or, am I wrong? I thought yellowing like this is usually caused by NOT ENOUGH of something. My first guess would be nitrogen.

Any ideas are welcome, since you all probably have a better idea than I do.

Is it also possible that lower fan leaves can yellow out to the point of shriveling up and dying merely because they aren't getting enough light anymore?

Peace and donkey smell!

It may very well be a lack of light, but I am going to go with your first thought, a Nitrogen deficiency. I've got a hunch, on a side note, how old is the plant?
