Question Water Ph affecting Soil Ph?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how much the water ph affects the soil ph reading?

My water's ph is at 7.5 and the runoff water of the soil says it's around 6.5, so could this mean that the .5 in the water changes the actual results of the runoff water, so that it's not actually 6.5 but maybe 6 or 5.5 ? Possible?

Thanks for any comments on this.
