4 plants that started Aug. 1 they went in 18-6 for too long before switching to 12-12 i believe... so the problem is, they seem to be getting too big for the space. it is like 40 in. of room between the bottom of the light [cfls] and the floor. the container and soil together knocks off around 10-12 in so from where the stem penetrates the soil to the light there is apprx. 25-30 in grow room and when they were put into 12-12 they were only 10-12 in tall, now they have like almost doubled in size and are growing ever bushier...

Your plants will stop growing. Widow,for example, has a potential to grow 135% when put into flowering. I was freaking out myself because I thought I was going to run out of room as the celing was only so high. Just when I was starting to worry, they stopped growing.

they are coming too close to the lights as some of the leaves on the top are getting burned the two largest plants are damn near on the cfl's and it's burning up leaves the lights cant be moved higher and the plants gotta stay where they are the two smaller plants have got 10-12 inches of vertical grow room left, but the two big ones need dealt with.

well to late to top if your in 12/12 so about all you can do is try to bend them over and tie them or move them to a new spot. Always figue a plant to triple in heoght and width when switched to 12 12.So 12 inchs plants will be about 36 inches tall. Cfls get pretty warm so you will need maybe 4-6 inches from top of plant and if your pot is about 12 inches then you will ne a minimal height of around 52 inches of height.

hey thanks for the input, ended up moving the troublesome cfls and revamping the whole cfl set up. it was a pain in the ass moving them all but the plants only have some minor burns on some of the leaves. you guys wouldnt want pics as shitty as they are with our camera, probably do more harm than good...lol you can almost make out peoples faces in the picture
