Hey guys,
I am having a problem with one of my plants (or maybe its not a problem, we'll see). Anyway, the very top bud on one of my plants seems to be turning GREY. yes, grey, like it looks like it is dead but it is a weird grey color. It is only a very tiny part that is grey, hen ce why you may not see it in the picture (also the HID's were obscuring me from getting in very close and also the camera isnt the best). The first picture is the closest I could get to the grey-topped bud. The second two pictures are of some other healthy plants I have of the same strain (jock horror). They are doing phenomenal. This doesnt look like mold or fungus but is it a kind I havnt seen before? Should i pick up some fungicide? Should i cut away the grey part? Anyone know what it is??

Again: the first p[icture is the plant with the problem, it is only a very tiny grey spot on the top you may not be able to see it. It looks kind of like it is dead matter but only on like the tops of 2 calyxes. The other two pictures are pics of healthy plants of the same strain (jock horror) to compare. Thanks in advance!!

looks like you mite have bumped the top, possibly should be ok

maybe its my comp, but i don't really see the issue? if its discolored maybe the light was too close for a bit or something of that nature especialy if its just the top growth and not the lower.

ps is that FARP on your walls?

How close was the light to it?

Looks like heat burn to me. But its real hard to say more with out a normal color pic(with grow light off).

WHoever asked: yes it is FARP. I think it was heat burn as well, it was the closest to the light and since I moved it farther away the condition has improved 100% and further bud development is normal. Grey part is gone. I think I freaked over nothing, everything is looking golden.

Whoever asked about the FARP if youd like a pic of my op just ask. Im running 1 1000w HPS w/ switchable ballast (i run a MH through it during veg with the two 400's running HPS) and two 400w's with switchables (running HPS during flowering and MH's during veg), as well as one 600w that is always running MH. I also have a mum cab with two 600w MH and six bonsai mums. (jock horror, NYCD, headband, OG kush, skunk#1, and one that I got from a bag that really surprised me and knocked my socks off, i got three from the bag and it was the most vigorous of the bunch. From what I can guess its a mostly sativa hybrid, with just enough indica to give you a nice couchlock but not put you to bed right away). The strains I am running right now are Jock Horror, bubbledelicious, NYCD, and some from the bagseed mum as well as some different bagseed. 8 altogether (I am MMJ, limited to 12 - although i am presently going a few over my limit with the mums included hehe, i think that is for flowering plants only though - you can have more if they arent flowering im pretty sure).
