this is my first post... bear with me. Also, Ill have pictures in a couple minutes.
Ok, so I have a small plant that i have just nursed back to health. It started as a healthy clone with one damaged leaf, but my buddy forgot to tell me to leave it in the pot so i transplanted it. Recently, it started failing so i transplanted it again. With some gradual nuting and another transplant into healthy new soil i now have what i like to think is a good healthy plant. There is new growth, which i noticed was dying, and growth was stunted, before i transplanted. However, throughout the process i have had a probem with one leaf. Ever since i got the plant the leaf has been massive, way bigger then any other leaf. It was healthy, but now it it extreamly unhealthy looking. I have the rest of the plant growing and looking relatively nice (apart from a little dark coloring around the rims of the leafs??) but this leaf is all screwed up. So, i was thinking, maybe the leaf is a drain on the resources of the rest of the plant. I know that energy is absorbed through the bottom of the leaf but this leaf is so big and heavy it doesn't get as much sun as the bottom of other leafs, and it looks dead. Should i cut it off? if so, how? and if not, any suggestions? thanks |

Alright, here they are, PLEASE HELP. Im thinking about just cutting it off at the base of the leaf, but will something grow from it? As you can see, theres new growth at the base of the branch, so i dont want to damage that. Im also thinking of lsting so that the leaf isnt so sagged, and gets more light on the bottom.

it will fall off if it wants to. until then it is only adding energy to the plant. if it bothers you tho, take it off.

i would take it off man the energy its using tryin to keep it alive is straining the plant, dnt cut
directly at the base of the leaf that may effect the secondary growth comin from it just snip the leaf stem hlfway down and it will fall off without any effect to the other growth hope that helps |

Yeah, I'll also go with P def.
DO NOT CUT IT OFF. Cutting off leaves that show a deficiency or any other problem just makes the deficiency/problem start attacking other leaves. That's just assenine...
