Yellow leaves during veg

Hi
My White rhino is 3 weeks into veg from clone, Many of the large fan leaves are yellowing. Leaves grow normal shape no twists or curls and grow fast but are a BRIGHT yellow, then eventually turn green but not fully as you can see in the first pic.
I am using 50ltr pot, Perlite, 1000w HPs, Canna Vega, PH 5.8 , EC 1.9 (str8 from tap PH 7.8, EC 0.4) Temp 24cel, weekly flush,
Ph drops to 5.4 after a cpl of days?

Should i be adjusting the PH of the water before adding nutrients?
Is adding the nutes to PH 7.8 water then adjusting the PH with PH DOWN,locking my macro nutrients away b4 i can adjust it.
Does adding PH down UNLOCK nutrients that have been locked by high ph?

Is it a pure perlite medium?

Which Canna (theres different ones depending on medium) are you using?

That pHing is fine i thinks. I don't think the lockout works like that.

Looks like a zinc deficiency i believe, could be wrong, should prob check the FAQ.

adjust the pH of the nutrient solution and that will fix your soil pH. you also want to be closer to 6.5, not 5.5. your at a hydro pH right now.

I am using str8 perlite with about 1/4 full layer of clay balls on the base to aid drainage.
Canna VEGA, substrate. Have used this nutrient many times before with out this prob.
Yes , it seems like a zinc def, but what is causing it? Everything seems to be right, ie PH,EC,TEMP
Is there a fix for a hydro zinc def?
