Default Cooling ur plants during when temp is high

I found a neat little trick to cool ur plant in the hot weather.

I first get a 2 large containers with frozen ice in it I then place a container on a large tray big enough to contain the water when the ice melts. I then tip the ice from one container and place it on top of the other container of ice. I then get my desk fan and switch it on to blow the cool air over my plant. I got the temp down from 93 to 85 in a matter of minutes. U can keep repeating the process to continually cool ur plant down.

Not only does it cool ur plant but the fan will also strengthen ur plant aswell. Let me know if u decide to give it ago if u need to, so I can see ur results. As I'm using natural and fluorescent lights on my window sill it can get really hot when the suns at its hottest. I got temps of over 100 degrees farenheit on my window sill. This can be usefull to greenhouse and indoor growers.

I know but usually when i use this the humidity is low around 20-30 % after the fan is on the levels only went up to 45% relative humidty. Sometimes the humidity would change slightly I only use it when the suns at it hottest and temps go over 90 degrees farenheit. This is usually for around an hour.

The only over alternative i can think of at hand is moving the plant out of the direct sunlight but this will slow the growing process. I want my plant to get as much sunlight as it can get.

Thanks for the reply I should of warned u all to keep an eye on the humidity levels if u decide to try this.

Good idea if the ice part is easy for you. Watch out for wind burn tho! Plants that are in the direct path of fan wind will start to turn yellow and/or brown and the new leaves will start to get twisted. Better to blow the cold air around the plant than directly on it.
