First of all, thanks everyone for responding. My goal was to find an additive that could only help or ensure ph balance without me having to go through the hassle and expense of buying and using a meter. Well, I bought a few different drop test kits. I just assumed I was starting to see a problem with ph and was going to have to flush then use ph corrected water going forward. Along with that I also have some ph up and ph down now because that's how I thought you get your fertilized water back to the 6.5-6.8 range. For as much as ph up/down is talked about this is the first I have heard anyone mention it is actually harmful. Having said that, I think I have it down so that I can get an acceptable range without using too much of it.

Now, here's the kicker- I did a run off test- and I don't care what about opinions that it's useless- and my ph was just fine. I put 6.5 water straight down the center through the rootball and out the sides came water exactly at 6.5 from start to finish(thanks Happy Frog soil). So I've come to the determination that I was underfeeding my plant for fear of overfeeding it and it was showing signs of stress that way. Yup, I think I was starving her. That's certainly possible, right? So, I'm going to feed the bitch well. I think it's a nute loving strain.

babygro, why is everything an argument when you're involved? You should ask yourself that because even if you're right, it's a recurring theme. And even if you're right ALL the time, you should please try to get your points across better without shutting people out to your ideas. There's definitely more than one way to be successful growing MJ as Gygax alludes to.

By the way, my water us 7.0 and when I add nutes that brings the ph down to around 5.5 I believe which is too low. I should only have to add a little ph up to get it close to 6.5. Hopefully that won't hurt the soil too much.

Hey BG, I wasn't trying to argue I was just saying what I thought that's all. And some of the things I stated were questions. I know you know your stuff we all know that. I wasn't trying to take anything away from you. Please don't feel like I was dissecting your answers I was just trying to understand more, honest bud. I actually learned a little something myself. All is good...
