I have a plant in a pot outdoors... Bout 2 weeks ago I posted saying y r the leaves drooping? Everyone replied with: too much water... Ok.. Well during the day it looks fine, but every night now for the past couple weeks it has been drooping extremely.. I haveNt watered it in 2 weeks... Still fine during the day n droop at night.. WTF?!?!? The soil is dry as shit for at least an inch down nthe pot is light as shit.. Someone please help!! ++++rep!!!!!
It doesn't seem to make sense to me...

how big is the pot maybe its root bound and you need to switch it over to a larger sized pot

the pot that that plant is in, is in the smaller of the two pots that i have...
i would say 8 or 9 inches in diameter and about 8 or 9 inches tall? what size should i opt for? .. just sucks... cuz i wish i could change to foxfarm soil, but thatd cause shock right? i have to use the same exact soil mix as i did in the pot right?

and my soil is like i said "dry as shit right now".. should i water thouroughly before the transplant? or try to do it dry n water immediately after? it seems as if doing it dry wouldnt really work well...

how big is the plant and how long has it been in that pot? If you wanted to just put the fox farm soil you want into the pot your going to transplant in it wont hurt anything like the 2 different soils arnt going to mix together and make an explosion or anything just dont break apart the root ball soil when you transplant

yeah a bigger pot would be a good start, water it before you transplant though, and you should have watered it within the 2 week time frame. good luck

yes I would water b 4 the transplant if you need to transplant I would water it right now if you havnt watered in 2 weeks

its about 2 months old and its like 9 inches tall.. maybe 10.. (not much light lately in ny).. im about to bring it indoors and boost it to a 24 hour light cycle for another 2 weeks so i can get some growth out of it.. n then im prob gonna consider flowering if its big enough... only reason why i didnt water it was cuz everyone told me to just let it wilt, that it was fine, and that a wilt could be fixed easily with a quick dosage of water... i waited n waited.. my soil is cracking now but the plants seem to not give a shit

yeah if I was you I would transplant into a larger pot size but watr b 4 you transplant if the plants isnt doin well then y would you not give it water water is the plants food its like saying if a kid gets sick and you dont let him eat the kid needs to eat to get better just put the plant into a bigger pot and keep going like you where

i know they need water lol the only reason i said i didnt give em water is cuz i was told by a few people to wait until they wilt, cuz i had saturated my soil too much due to watering too vigorously... n they hadnt wilted yet.. unless the one drooping is wilting.. which is weird cuz i figured it wouldve gone thru the stages of wilting due to over watering, then to not wilting at all even at night, n then to wilting once it got too dry.. n it hasnt been like that.. its more like it wilted cuz of overwatering.. n then wilted every single night now since it had too much water.. now it has none.. n nothing has changed.. im goin to go water them now, someone told me to water a decent amount, wait bout 30 seconds, and then to keep doing that, until i see water drip out the bottom... thats what i should do? just asking for a second opinion on watering techniquess...
