When plants are growing outdoors and in pots they dry out real fast, well kinda of the same as growing indoors under a 1000 watter. There are really only 2 reasons a plant droops (unless the soil is just plain ol bad soil) one is overwatering and the other is underwatering when growing in soil, and just right no drooping for the most part. They will however rest during dark/sleep time.

The best and most effective watering technique for soil growing is to watch for run off. Once you see run off you know the soil has been saturated. Sounds like you are in a 1 gallon growing container and for that you would use 1 1/2 to 2 quarts of water to get the soil nice and wet.

Glad to hear you are happy with us , we like you too.........there are all kinds of fun forums to cruze and definately tons of excellent information for growing.

I have learned nearly everything about growing from RIU. I came here with minimal knowledge about growing and RIU has helped turned my grow skills totally around. Grow talk.....luv it!

I never water before transplant. It's much easier to remove soil from a container that is dry then to try to remove it wet.

Do water it after you put it in a bigger pot though.

Good luck listening to these people.

Lol smoker that sucks.. Cuz I didn't see that post.. But my soil was so dry it literally wouldve gone **poof** into nothing with the slightest pressure.. Regardless, didn't see the post, just watered each with about 30 ounces.. Water started to come out the bottom.. Will post with next reactions.. Hoping the droopy one won't fall over on me lol

.. Few hours after watering.. Bottom leaves (first set single point) turned yellow n browned up, fell off of droopy plant. My other plant still looks good but bottom two leaves turned yellow.. Don't leaves turn yellow from too much water? I didn't use much... Around a quart of water each... Ph at 6.5-7 tops.... Any ideas?

they will go into transplant shock for a couple days-week. the yellowing of the leafs is them sucking available nutrients to keep them alive, and or not enough nitrogen in the diet. let them rest a few days and update with some pictures for future diagnosis
