foilar feeding (feeding through the leaves) is only done when plant needs urgent care. dont mist the plants for any other reason than that. read up on foilar feeding. misting with water is pointless and as you know, burns the leaves. people argue bout misting all the time, now you know why most people dont do it. my current setup was like 200 bucks total maybe. all cfls. and a whole shit ton of watts, but more importantly, a whole shit ton of lumens. lumens are what really count, as they are the measure of the amount of light the bulb gives off... so make sure your ph is in range, check it EVERY time you water. STOP MISTING. get some different soil maybe too..... good luck

lol by the way.. the holes in that lewaf are from an accident... my fan fell on top of the plant, took out a fan leaf, and left that one snapped in half at the node, i rested a bendy straw under the broken node n it propped it up quite well.. this happened about two days ago, and the leaf that was broke is the one with the browning that i showed u, but its not from it dying cuz it has shown significant improvements, able to stand up on its own already, and the small hole where it snapped in the node is slowly healing

whats the wattage and lumens of ur lights? i want identical.

lol- your local home depot will have the cfl bulbs and reflectors.... are you going to finish the plant indoors?

i would really like to.. a friend of mine actually has got an 800$ sodium bulb with two adjustments i believe? idk he said its for veg, and then gets dimmer for flower... its prob b much better to boost em with some 24 hours of light for a week or two dont ya think?

all my plants are vegged on a 24 hour light schedule. flouros are good for vegitation and work well for flowering. hps is probably the best light to flower with. hps can cause preflowers and stretching during vegitation though. i use cfls throughout the grow because that's what i already own. i use a 24 hour light schedule during veg. to get a stronger, healthier plant, and to get me to flower faster. i personally prefer to grow indoors due to security and being able to control conditions in garden, but to each his own..... good luck on your grow
