so this lady has a big white spot on her i think it might be bird poop but the chances of that are pretty low. could it maybe be like fungus? its not a web or anything just looks like white paint. plus if you look lower down on the plant i got a bunch of tiny lil holes in the fan leaves would dish soap stop bugs from doin this higher up? if so whats the formula and how would i go about using it.

hard to tell in the pic but the white stuff is like a really thick web and this is only spot infected on the entire plant. the top white spot is the web the spots lower in the pic look the same but theyre like reallll tiny holes all grouped together
PLEASE HELP A NOOB OUT

Looks like you've got a bug problem, not sure what kind though. check under all the leaves for worms and other bugs. the white stuff is not something you should worry about, but the holes in the leaves are your main problem

could be a bug nest. I don't know the proper terminology for it. Like where a spider lays it's eggs.. they look kinda like what you describe.

Slugs? Are you in an area that has slugs? If so the white stuff might be their slime? Not sure but slugs eat plants like that!

that was my main guess just random bugs nibblin all the time. should i do that soap method? like mixin it with water and wipin the leaves
