I'm not exactly sure what would be causing this, maybe humidity causing mold? The humidity is normally about 70%ish 24 hours of light.. Not exactly sure what could be causing this.. Any tips?




The other leaf looks the exact same as well, and the other set of single leaves above it have little black dots on them where it seems like it's trying to form more..

The first set of actual fan leaves that are trying to form look completely green and healthy..
Any advice would be awesome! Thanks

Pull the camera further away from the leaf so it's in focus.

That looks like either nutrient burn or you've spilt water on the leaves.

Any more information you can give? How are you growing? Nutrient feeds and frequency etc Watering?

I water every other day, they are only 14 days old and I have not been feeding any nutes to them at all yet being their a little young still, I'm using Miracle Grow Potting Mix, All my other plants are healthy and growing strong but I do vaguely recall spilling a little water on them when feeding them 2 days ago..

Yea, better info about your soil and nutes. Also how old is the plant(assuming a month at most).

As long as your using regular water, the spill shouldn't have done that. Could be nute burn from the Miracle Grow, but it doesn't look like it. It seems to young to have a MG deficiency(which that sometimes looks a bit like)...

I'd wait and see for a few more days, or maybe someone else can pinpoint it better.

I use regular water from the store, filtered by reverse osmosis but I pour it from a jug and it sometimes splashes onto the leaves a tiny bit, I mean today at like 3am it didn't have it, then when I went down there at around 3:00pm it was there so it happened relatively fast

Well there you go - it could be either.

Is the MG soil the one with the slow release nutrient capsules in it? If it is, I'd repot it into something else that doesn't have those nutrients built in. That's what could be causing the burn marks because the capsules release at different rates it may not have affected the other plants yet.

Or it could simply be spilt water as I said.

Water spills on leaves can look exactly like that - it has nothing to do with the water quality and everything to do with the light using the water as a magnifying glass and burning the leaves.
