Plant is about one or two weeks into flower I'd say because it looks a lot like someone's that has been in 12/12 for a couple weeks. There is definite bud formation starting.

She's about 5-6 feet tall and has up to this point been very healthy. She's in a five gallon bucket that has about four gallons of soil. About two weeks ago I cut the bottom out and set it down in another five gallon bucket with about three gallons of soil in it. It's Happy Frog soil so it's pretty good. But that's around seven gallons of soil total so it seems like enough.

I watered her on Monday with a gallon of water and some nutes. I don't think I overdid it on the nutes Monday- 1/4 tsp 10-7-18(1 tsp is the recommended feeding) and about a 1.5 tbsp of organic 3-1.5-4(2 tbsp is a normal feeding).and went out tonight, three nights later, and all the leaves were drooping from top to bottom. It was dark as I walked up to the plant but I could clearly see the shadows of the leaves just hanging and I thought "oh noooo".

It's really only the shade leaves that seem droopy. They are still green and somewhat rich looking, they are just hanging over limp.

It's been nice and sunny the past few days and she's getting about 8+ hours of direct sun. Could it be that now she's flowering and that gallon of water just wasn't near enough? The soil seemed pretty dry even as deep as my finger would go. Is she just that thirsty?

you said 1 gallon for a 7 gallon container...

sounds like she is thirsty. give her a good watering and wait about an hour; if she doesn't perk up, then your problem is something else.

yup just give her some more water - my plants droop regular if i dont give eenough - they go all limp and droopy but after some water and a couple urs they perk right back up

So that's ridiculously not enough maybe? Up to this point it's seemed like plenty.

you need to have a good amount of run off every time you water. sometimes dirt will pull from the sides of a pot, and the water will drain down and not saturate the root ball. check your dirt, if necessary, push dirt back against the sides.

also, i generally water with half the volume of the pot, ie, if i'm using a 3g pot, i water with 1.5g. this is overkill, but i only water my plants when they tell me too, which is once a month or so. my indoor plants get watered a quart a week, they are in 6'' pots.

I do see this so thanks. So press the dirt around sides down- pack it- so the path of least resistance is downward towards the root ball?

Interesting KP. So you live in a place that has mild temps and the ground stays wet a lot longer?

lol, no, quite the opposite; i deal with 100f temps and high humidity; the one thing i have going for me is daily afternoon showers (5-10 mins). this provides most of their watering, as the soil usually gets very dry before they wilt. the minute amount of water, and the humidity allow the plant to thrive with little help from me. when it doesn't rain for 5 or more days, and i get wilt, i drown them. they perk up in 15 mins, and do well for about another month
