lower fan leaves dying?

Hey guys my plant is about a month old and is growing very big and healthy but ive been noticing that the lower fan leaves are starting to turn yellowish on tips and sides and are dropping....all the other leaves are perfect. Lighting is not the issue here. i have 4 tube lights giving off 1200 lumens each then i have 4 cfls next to the plants about 4 inches away giving off over 1000 lumens each.

i was thinking nute problem but the rest of the plant is very healthy..

any suggestion?

Thats right, sounds perfectly normal. Its just discarding older useless lower leaves that it doesn't need anymore. Sounds like you've got a very healthy plant.:peace:
I don't know if I would say "perfectly normal". I've grown plants from start to finish without losing a single leaf. The plant is looking for Nitrogen and sucking it from the lower leaves. What kind of nutes are you using? Do you have any pictures?

Sometimes this is completely normal if you have a thick, full canopy and the lower leaves don't receive any light. The plant will kill these leaves off and suck the nutrients from them because they aren't receiving light anyway, but generally when the lower part start to yellow, it's time to add nutes.

I completely agree with you. And reiterate that i said perfectly normal, not to be confused with perfectly healthy. lol

Uh oh....We need some more information before you going doing crazy things. You don't need to foliar feed your plants. That's something that newbies do all of the time and it's completely unnecessary.

What kind of nutrients are you using? What recipe did you use for your foliar feeding?

FF is really only needed if you have a root zone nutrient lockout and you wan to relieve some stress to the plant. A little bit of yellowing is not a good reason to start foliar feeding your plants.

Lets get you off to the right start and lets find out what you are using for nutrients? What kind of soil or medium are you using? What was your soil mixture?

Ahh very good point. I guess I would say it is "perfectly normal". I like that distinction between normal and healthy.
Yeah see I'm still part noob too and I know how it can be. Every little thing is like "OHH NOO A SPOT!!" LOL And everyone wants to overreact when its no big deal. See, our client (client LMAO) has gone ahead and is spraying stuff on his plants already like its an emergency. IDK maybe it is. If its coming on all severe and suddenly. Its hard to say without a picture.
Indoor plants often lack light and lose leaves farthest from it. Thats kinda what it sounded like here.

I know, I try to advise people not to overreact to everything. His first step should be providing answers to the questions like what kind of soil? What kind of nutrients? what kind lights? Provide pictures. Give us an age of the plants, that sort of thing, but instead he saw the word Nitrogen and ran off and had to take action.

I hate that.
