Mites no, damage looks to severe and isolated. Mites is less noticable damage covering most of the plant. I'm assuming this is an outdoor grow, it could be anything. Looks almost like a catepiller or something.

Just keep an eye out. Look at the leaves, under them, all over. Anything tiny and black on either side could be mites. Aphids look like little white blobs.

Will neem oil repel the majority of bugs that attack marijuana plants because i purchased some today and made up it to the directions but im a little tense because the recipe calls for dishsoap. does any one have any experience. I read the grow faq and the author said he wouldt put dishsoap on his plants so i'm wondering if I should even apply it because my problem is so minor. Any input appreciated

the dish soap acts as a wetting agent allowing for more even distribution. I've always used it with neem oil. Many gardening expert recommend using dish soap when just watering plants. It will not hurt them. VV

Only thing I've ever had a problem with is gnats, and spider-mites. For gnats, a simple clap of the hand or raw slice of potatoe in the corner usually does the trick. For mites, I use this....

Found this awhile back, unsure who it's by:

1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 drops dish detergent
1/4 Teaspoon Epsom Salts

Take a cup of very hot water and desolve the epsom salts, take rest of ingredients and place in a clean 2 liter bottle and let work out. Add epsom solution. Add water to fill to 48ozs(3/4 full).Shake well.

TO USE: Cover soil/medium with plastic, with lights off mist plant all over, especialy under leaves,
Wait 20 mins, then spritz off with clean fresh water shaking as much water off plant as you can.
The fresh water spritz rinse will remove the solution along with the desolved remains of the mites and their eggs.

It will, and it will get rid of the eggs as well, but you may need to do it more than once if it's a bad infestation.

There is only a couple of plants out of my 32 that have the spots on the leaves and the ones that do have it it's only on a few leaves. I applied the neem oil and soap mix up on one plant today so I will go back tomorrow and see if it affected it for the worse. Thanks for all your help-
