this is my first grow, just used some bag seeds so i haven't invested too much money in it. i know there is something wrong here, thinking it may be overwatering although it is only watered every other day.
it's in a 14-3-9 soil mix, not adding anything since it's only a week old. here's my set up two 26w cfls about a 4-5 inches above the plant 16/8 cycle. the temp ranges from 75-88 with 45% humidity. also i don't know if you can tell this in the pics, but the root is turning purple from the soil up. don't know if this is genetic or some sort of def.
since i haven't put that much time or money into it, i'm not that worried, would just like to know if this is something i can fix. thanks in advance...

yeah lower your lghts....and try and get some more cfl's if you can....or an hps for real results....good luck!

Isn't HPS for Flowering, and MH for vegging? If Not i have been doing it backwards.

the light has been lowered so that will stop the stretching. what about the drooping leaves? is that normal? could it be from overwatering? that really was my main concern i don't want to water it until i know if i am giving it too much too often or what.

try watering it ever 4 days, and just mist the leafs. If that is not enough, then go ever three days.

I think it is much easier to bring a plant back from under watering, then to bring it back from over watering. You get root rot and things when you over water.

Just my Opinion.

probobly overwatered, let the soil dry out all the way until you water again. keep the cfl 1 inch from the top.

HPS - VEGGING
MH - FLOWERING

Isnt it ?!!?.... .... Im not sure ....

like chabnock said MH is for veg and HPS is for flowering or you can use your HPS for both
