Firstly, anyone who is interested please look at my albums, my problematic plants are pictured therein. In it is a pic of 3 plants on a chair. They are the 3 lowryder plants, they are the same age.





Iam sorry if I made some kind of forum transgression, as I posted some of this post in a different thread.

But Iam desperate to get some pot to help with my pain based mobility problem, Iam desperate.

I have 3 lowryder*chemdawg/kush seeds that Iam growing.
They started under a kitchen light fluoro 'till I could afford my cheapo 400watt grolux lights.
In the meantime I bought a few ch9 california plants and I got given some haze/skunk seeds.
That made a total of 3 autoflowers that were planted after germing on the 26th April, and 6 of the other non-autoflowering plants that were germed and then planted a week later.

I have all the plants under my 400w grolux in my wardrobe.

I havnt yet decided whether to give them 24/0 or what. 2 days ago I satrted giving all the plants 18/6.

All the plants other than my autoflowers are destined to go outside and be planted in my super-secret outside area. But when I just have the autos under my lights can/should I go back to the 24/o system?

And don't mention lower leaves going yellow please? Or I might just cry!

My soil is supposed to have enough goodness for a month, yet a few days ago my 2 slowest growing auto started turning the first 2 real leaves and their cotyledons yellow.

I thought Aha not enough N. So I mixed up a nute soloution, where the soloutin dripped on the leaves it has frazzled 'em.

And It didnt seem to help at all. SO I poured loads of water through the plants to remove the nutes I applied.

I have spent a lot of cash for someone on sickness benefit, and Iam starting to freak right out!

Iam actually on the sick because I cannot walk very far as I have chronic achilles tendonitis. I have learned that dope allows me to walk about with no pain, yet I think that Iam screwing everything up!

Put your autos on 24 and even your vegers, until they go out side. Once outside you should not have much problems. Just make sure they are watered and mix proper nutes in the water from time to time. Cotyledons will go yellow when plant needs first set of nutes. When you got some on leaves and burned leafs, well theres a lesson learned. But plant/s need 1/4 strength nutes. Don't flush them out this time.
Slow down and relax, with a few questions answered from time to time you will do fine.

18/6 is all you need.. anymore is a waste of electricity and money

dont know enough about auto flowers to assist in the diagnosis of the your leaves tho... dont know if they behave like standard pot plants or not....

Have you not realized that when you growin veg they grow more under 24 than 18 ? Check it out yourself. Growers Bible page 38

That is why I tested this method myself and found out Jorge Cervantes is right.

ok.. so i own jorges bible.. ive read jorges bible front in back.. i know what jorge says about light... in fact i use a 24/0 light cycle myself... thing is we arent talking about normal pot plants... we are talking about auto flowers... that only get so tall.. that flower whenever they decide to.. not standard plants that grow and grow and grow until you decide to flower them yourself.. thats why i said to only use 18/6... they will only get so tall and grow so much bud... no matter what you do to them...
secondly, after a long long long thread with MYGIRL, i have possibly changed my mind about the 24/0.. thats another story though.. but as far as auto flowers go they will yield the same under 18/6 as they do under 24/0 as they do under 22/2 or whatever other cycle you want to use... so why waste the extra money using more than what he needs??

if he was askin about his non flowers than yes... 24/0 is what i would do... is what i do use now in fact... until i can experiment myself with this.. but again the auto flowers do not need that much light at all
