| | Crispy, brown and stunted..PLZ HELP!! | | Here's the info
DP Oasis in soil.
Plants are 35 days old from germ.
They received no ferts untill they were at the 2nd node of true leaves. I gave them 25% strength general plant food...Miracle grow.
They were in small pots 3-4 in. untill 1 week ago. I used a moisture meter they were not watered untill the soil was good and dry.
I noticed the older leaf tips turning yellow then brown, spreading from the tip towards the stalk.I did some reading and thought I had a Mg prob. I began foliar feeding epson salts, untill the soil dryed enugh to feed some epsom salt in the water. It had no effect. This began when they were about 2 weeks old.
They have been under 4 foot flureo tubes 24 hours a day.
The temps hover around 80 F and a 55-60% humidiy.
They are now in 2.5 gal containers,
with a mix of Miracle grow potting soil, Dolemite lime- 1/2 cup to 2 gal soil, Peruvian Seabird Guano about 6 tablespoons of pelletized guano per 2 gal of soil. The PH of the soil is 6.5 to 7.0
I use tap water for watering.
They are 8 plants, the 2 in the pics are the largest 2. They are all undersize to be 35 days IMO.
They blight continues to climb the plant, with new growth outpacing the blight.
I'm concerned that even if they do survive that they are going to be hermies. I just want 1 good female to clone.
I have a 425 HPS, but have been hesitant to put them under untill they get healthy.
PLEASE HELP...I've read and read, and I can't seem to come up with a solution.
Thanks in advance.

| | Welcome noname.
This will happen.
The plant is using up it's stored nutes.
Don't sweat it.
The plant is regenerating.
The lower will die to make food and room for the new upper.
Happy growing |

| | Oh Yeah cut back on the light slightly,
I would go 18/6.
They seem to start new growth more often with a lil dark period.
You also need as much intake and exhaust ventilation that you can get. |

I don't know about that midgrade. The only time my plant ever looks like that, I've done torched it with some sort of nutes or something. He has miracle grow soil which I'm assuming has some sort of nutes in it. Added guano to it and then put miracle grow nutes on it. Oh daddy. When was the last time you watered?

I used the liquid nutes when they were in the smaller containers, and only after they showed signs of the blight. I thought they were ready for nutes, as they were planted in a plain potting soil w/o any nutes. In other words they were showing signs of yellowing before they got any nutes at all. They have been yellowing and browing since they were about 14 or 16 days old. My thoughts were that they were deficient in SOMETHING. But everything I've tried hasn't worked.
Also, these plants are 35 days old and they are only 2-3 inches high. Why are they so stunted? |

| | With nute burn almost every leaf tip will turn brown and then appear to be burnt.
The yellowing, drying and then crumpling is necrosis.
think of it like a snake shedding it's skin.
You could combat this with advanced nute maintenance.
It will still happen anyway. |

| | Smoke has a good point.
The more I look at your pics the more it looks like N burn.
You should flush with water only for your next water or feedings, and cut back on your nutes when you start back.
Make sure when you do use nutes that you do not pour the nute water soulution on the plant leafs.
Kinda looks like nute solution splashed on the leaf tips. |
