Default G13xHaze in Flower - My Unsolvable Problem.
Hey mates, so I have had problems with my two plants for about the past three weeks. Maybe you can help me diagnose what is going on.

  • Foxfarm Ocean Forest with 30% perlite.
  • Originally fed grow ferts at the start of flower to help my nitrogen def during the stretch. Now eating 5ml of Cal/Mag (distilled water), 3 tsp of Big Bloom, and 2 tsp of Tiger bloom.
  • 22 Days into flower under my 400 w HPS.
  • PH is always stabilized at 6.5 when fed with distilled water.
  • Fed nutes every watering which happens about every 3 days.
  • Half a gallon of water per plant, per water.
  • Growth has been pretty good actually, they have been budding nicely for 22 days. But I have been losing more leaves every day due to yellowing.
  • Temps are at 80 with lights on. One oscilating fan and an air cooled hood.

Here are the pics. Let me know what you guys think. I cant stress how much your help will be appreciated.

Rep for your help.

my friend there is absolutly nothing wrong with your plants that a little upping of your nutes wouldnt fix for you..
during the flowering cycle of your plant and the production of buds on the plants causes an increased uptake of of the nutrients-the yellowing is a prime example of the plant asking for a little bit more nitrogen(yellowing of the fan leaves) dont go overboard with the nutes though as gently gently does it best with your babies.....hope this helped you out any my friend--godd luck with your grow

thanks tigress. im just a little worried because i've lost a good deal of vegetation over the past week. the early flower stretch should be over, so I cannot really explain the yellowing. I mean, my nutes have a good amount of N in them.

Do you suggest just keeping them on the big bloom and tiger bloom? or should I supplement them with a little grow nutes?

cheers, -Thrawn

also, I dont think pic #4 looks like nitrogen deficiency at all. Reminds me of a pH issue I had with my last grow. But I could be wrong because my runoff is good. Does anyone think a flush and then a normal dose of bloom nutes sounds like a good plan?

3 weeks into flower dont make the mistake that i made with my first grow, i was always affraid to up the nutes during mid flower, you can start to put the pedal to the metal, i agree with the other guy, you can slowly up the nutes, this clearly looks like nitrogen which is normal as bloom nutes go light with it, the cal-mag if its botanicare has N in it, you can up the dosage to 10ml/gal with that...since its normal to lose fan leaves during flowering, we dont wanna lose too many, and with an N def, you can lose too many too fast, what happens is , and i am guessing you may have done this, the plant needs BLOOM nutes when you start to see flowers, she still needs GROW ferts up until you actually see flowers, not when you put it into 12/12...so basically you can still use grow big up until about 2weeks into the 12/12 cycle...but like i said earlier you can supplement with cal-mag and start upping the nutes, shes gonna need it right about now

on second thought, you have really dark green leaves and some tips that a touch burnt, not bad though, i wouldnt go higher with the big bloom and tiger bloom just yet, i would go higher with the cal-mag...that dark emerald green is a sign that its getting a ton of nutrients, next sign is crispy tips and we dont want that, she just need a lil more N....they look great though and if you woulda used the grow big longer you would have nailed it...nice job

cheers senor morris. i will up the cal mag and keep my bloom nutes at 3tsp of Big Bloom, and 2tsp of Tiger bloom per gallon. Check out my journal in the future. These babies are gonna look sexy in a month.

Someones got to know whats going on here. Yesterday I fed a gallon of water, each with 4 tsp of big bloom and 10 ml of CalMag. I figured the calmag would boost up the Nitrogen and the BigBloom would put some good organic shit back in the neutralized soil. This morning, more and more leaves are dead. The same symptoms.

Older leaves, yellowing from the outside in, brown-black leaf tips curling. Leaf dies. IM RUNNING OUT OF FUCKING FAN LEAVEs.
