I bought some really healthy White Widow clones about 2 weeks ago. They are all doing really well, but they are starting to show some buds already and I am wondering if this is normal as this is my first grow.

I have also included a photo of some smaller leaves that show some type of damage, but it seems as though all the plants are healing very fast. Some plants that had this same problem have healed already, but I would still like to know what caused the leaf damage if anyone knows...

So there are 3 pictures, all about the same age (2-3 weeks)

my water has 343 ppm before the nutes, about 850 ppm after. It seems like that is kind of low, but I am scared of burning them. My Ph is usually 5.7 +/-
Any suggestions?

how many hrs of light do you have them under?Are u vegging or flowering?Sometimes people you buy clones from are lazy and let their mothers get under a 12/12 lighting situation and the clone you got may have been in a flowering stage.I just bought some white diesel clones and it took me a month to get them back into full veg

thanks. I started 18/6 about 3 days ago, but before that, there was about a week of different times of light because I was still building my grow room. I thought that I was finished with the room, but because it was getting too hot, I had to spend some time getting the temp down. Is it too late? Should I give these plants away and get new ones that aren't flowering? I really want this grow to do as well as possible.

18/6 light under (2) 400w MH stabilized for now at 82 degrees during the day and about 72 at night. I can lower the day temp a little as soon as I get some more materials...

my first batch, all of these sativas are showing hairs and like not much side growth yet, im on 24/7 cfls for the clone box, i read up on it, i guess its normal. its nice to see the hairs though instead of the balls huh

woah, those ppms are very high, not low at all. those wisped leaf tips sure sign of zinc deficiency from being way over ferted causing lockout. ppms should be around 300-400 depending on hardness of your water. they will start burning soon for sure. my 2 cents

at 340 ppms, ur water seems very hard. u r gonna have to do something about that. an overload of mg and/or ca in that water will lead to lockout of Zinc.
as long as your lighting is 18/6 or 24/24 than they will revert back to veg. the clones must have been taken from flowering female about 2-3 weeks in. is ok just adds couple more weeks on your cycle.

why wouldnt you wanna flower them already, look fairly large

I wanted to add a few more pictures to give a better idea of what these young plants look like. It just seems to me that they are flowering. Shit!

AND I am puzzled on a nutrient solution. The water I am using is very hard and reads close to 350ppm out of the tap. I am willing to buy filtered water if enough people think it is necessary. I want my plants to be perfect so I'll do what I need to do. It's just that the hydro store guy said I might be ok using my hard water.
At this point, I'm using the minimum dose for all the nutes I'm using (Botanicare PureBlend Pro Grow, Hydroguard, Liquid Karma, and for the last week, I've been adding a low dose of Seaplex and Huvega from Organicare.
Right now, I'm around 600ppm total. I diluted the mix when I started to see burning.

Any suggestions? In my pictures, some of the new leaves look great and are a deep green, but some of the fan blades are yellowing. There is also some burning shown in the close up pictures. Thanks!

your setup looks nice and so do those clones. be careful to not let those plants out grow that room. i would switch to 12/12 right away.

double check and make sure you dont have any chloramines in your water, this is a link to a filter that solved my problems.

and i agree with forgedgreens just switch them into flower now. 12/12 they will get plenty big. plus you will shave like a month off your grow.
