Default Mutated seedling wtf?

Never had this happen to me before anyhow here's the deal. One of my Black Dom seedlings has sprouted all mutated like, as you can see in one of the attached pictures.

What causes the extra stem/starter leaf?

I was thinking to let it grow and do it's own thing, bad idea?

Yeah I'll probably start a complete grow journal this time around with veg and bloom instead of just bloom, I'll message you with the link when I do start it in a couple days or so. I'll be keeping this journal properly updated with pics this time too.

Still curious as to what causes this mutation, unstable genetics? Hell if I know....

A part of me thinks it will just die off eventually. However the other part of me thinks something way insane crazy is gonna happen (high hopes lol). We shall see though.
