i have 15 indoor plants, all of them in miracle grow orchid soil. i know its not the best choice, but its all i can get right now. i also am using miracle grow all purpose nutes. 24-8-16. i use them at 1/2 to 3/4 strength, to not cause nute burn.

all of the plants' first nodes have yellowed, browned,died and crinkled up. at first i thought it was just some oddity in the strain, being that they were all bagseed. but now some of them are developing yellow or white spots on the very first three leafers.

i have also noticed new growth leaf tips are burned, but only barely noticably. as well as some red spots on nodes, and on 1 or 2 plants a little purple has come up on some stems.

i have heard that miracle gro is kind of unreliable when it comes to ph, as well as causing nutrient burn. i believe it is either a ph problem, a nutrient burn problem, a phosphorous deficiency, or a lack of lighting to lower leaves.

please help me figure this out before my whole garden is dead. thanks
