It wont hurt but Id cover the res to keep the film off the water. Leave the clones in there too. if your working on mites you need 3 cans. You will turn one on every 3 days til cans are gone as spider mites have a 3 day cycle when threatened. You set1 can off and the adult mite lays its eggs and the adult will die but the eggs will hatch in about 2-3 days so you want to hit them with the 2nd can which kills the young mites before they are old enough to reproduce.Then last can 3 cleans up any last hiders. Then a good bottle of Bug Me Not from fox farm giving a good mist for caution every 3-5 days.Its a fight but can be done if its not into mid to late flower

umm wow and thank you. no mites but white flies i think tiny tiny tiny white flying things on the underside of the fan leaves. lots of them. biblical

well i set one off and they lived through it, well about half of em did. so i guess i'll try again then maybe something else.

For white flies try placeing sticky yellow bug traps around the plants

i use those and they do work. i must have a major infestation. but everything is healthy.

Foggers are ok but if you can get some other kind of sprinkleler you may need 2 large ones for a good sea of grreen .make sure if you are useing a fogger is i don't like water riseing near electric sorry but i will stick to the old drip and feedor a sprinkler comeing on 3/4 time a day but keep a check of the ph
