Default Helpp. Plant Spotssss!!!!
hey i got a sativa plant, growing in a soil mix with some organic material AND mostly nute rich soil (4 litre pot size). I'm running two 23w(cool white) and one 42w(warm) CFL's. Because of the deficencies, after about a month of growth i pushed her into flowering, hoping my 10-30-10 flowering nutes would be the cure from my 7-7-7 veggie nutes. well, it wasn't. The plant is continuing to wilt and these small yellowish/brown spots keep forming on both new and old leaves, but they started on the biggest(middle) fan leaves at the tips. Near the bottom of the plant it almost looks like a whiteish mold starting on the very first (rounded) leaves. It was at about 3 weeks in when newer growth began to curl up. I water every other day with air cured tap water and a foiliar spray, the Ph of the 'run-off' is around 5.8, humidity at around 25%, lights are about 4or5 inches away(3lights circling around plant). Could it be my lights are to close? A 7-7-7 fert isn't good? Is it gettin to hot in there?(during the day the hottest it's been is 110 degrees(lights on), goes down to about 80 degrees with fan on(lights on) and as low as 65 to 75 at night(lights out)could it be too much water or not enough? over fert? under fert? im really confused and dont want my wifey to die Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

hi,
i get a headache reading this.
Post some pix if u want someone to answer u.
Far as i understand - u fucked her up real good.
Water every day ?????
Ph 5.8 - what u expect - and this humidity is low, spray them - i grow under HPS and i spray my plants a lot /every day/ because the lights are hot and they dry the air.
Hand check under the lights for heat
Good luck

well f.uck, no one said u had to read it man. and sorry wont have n e way to get pics up for another couple weeks. No, i said i water every OTHER day with a foiliar spray and any time it looks dry. Sorry meant to say Ph run-off is at 6.8 . I kno its hard to diagnose for sure without a picture...but by the sounds of it, would u say its a light problem?? I've been growing for about 2.5 year now under these same lights and somehow can never end-up producing a yield..something always f.ucks up. I know its possible to grow with what i got, i just dont know what the problem is. About how far would u keep a CFL from a plant? Is the humidity diff for veg and flow? Please, if you could help me out..i'd be well appreciated.

Sorry to say but that really was a tad hard to read.

Let's see:

Your soil may have too many nutes and could be nute burning. Especially if the spots start at the tips of the leaves teeth and are round.

Your temps are ok, if they stay under 80F, but your humidity is low and if you're using aluminum foil for reflection, then it may be heat burn. Get 1-2 fans for lowering heat and place a bowl of water somewhere in the closet to raise humidity.

Spraying your plants is a bad idea. The little drops of water heat up and can spot burn your leaves.

Spot burn may also appear from a calcium deficiency. Buy molasses, add 1 tbs/gallon every watering. This will fix any mineral deficiency.

Well, that's all I can think about. A pic would help you help us help you... it would just be useful.
