Hi All,

I have been given a plant, when i got this plant the top had been chopped off for some reason, and some of the leaves were brown. I believe the plant was an indoor plant. i have moved it to a bigger pot and there has been some growth on the plant. But now there appears to be more and more leaves changing to this brown leave and then dieing. Could someone please tell me what is wrong with my little buddy. He sleeps for 12 hours a night, in a light free room, and then has sun on him for 12 hours. I only water him when the soil is dry. Any help would be great. I have attached pictures to help with any dignoises. Also i have no idea about this male or female thing, ive read pages on it, if you can tell from the photos please let me know. I live in the southern hemisphere as well.

It looks confused to me. Maybe it was going into flower and then re vegged. Now you got it to flower again. That takes a plant several weeks to do. Like 5 or 6 just to re veg. So, I guess I would say make sure it gets zero light during its 12 hrs. and keep doing what your doing.

When it comes to boys and girls, well the girls have pistils that are like small hairs at the plant node and the boys have balls. Kinda easy to see.

Good luck with that. I experienced something similar and my plant shot out single blade leaves and it was a mess. I should have cut it off.
