Hey man... from the newer pics you posted, I see what you were explaining. That the veins are not actually dark with a lighter shade of green on the leaves. From this new pic, I take back my earlier diagnosis of a magnesium deficiency and am now leaning towards some heat stress as your only problem. Aside from the edges of the leaves which are curling upwards, it looks relatively healthy. That curling on the edges is usually indicative of heat stress, so that's my new diagnosis. How close do you keep your lights from the tops? Try moving the lights about 4"-5" higher and give it a day or two to respond.

lights are about 12" away which is actually far from what I've been told since Im using a dual bulb setup that has (1) 250MH (1) 250HPS so the bulbs lumen output is realatively high compared to the heat they put off which is almost nothing I have them further away to get them a bit taller then I'll most likely move it closer for flowering and thicken them buds up a little. . . as for the heat stress I thought so too but temps havent been off at all 73-74 in the room 79-80 at the plant tops and about 64 at night so not even a big flex I wonder whats goin on. . .they are exhibiting signs of a few things heat, salt buildup and underwatering, all of which I have corrected maybe they will bounce back ill keep you posted

bra smith i am using the floranova series and having similar problems with salt build up. what can i do to fix this and should i stop using it all together?

I'm still not seeing any evidence of a salt buildup. But I realize that a picture only shows so much. Most varieties will begin experiencing heat stress at 85°F, but this number is not set in stone and will vary from strain to strain. It could even vary among different plants of the same strain. Indicas, in particular, can be more prone to heat stress than sativas. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that your plant happens to be more susceptible to heat stress than you are accustomed to. Maybe you can try raising the light another 2" to be on the safe side. If you're not doing so already, you should be giving your plants a thorough foliar misting everyday. The best time to do it is right before your lights shut off for your dark period. I don't recall if you mentioned it in an earlier posting, but what is the humidity of your grow-room?

Humidity is at 45-50% which is a little on the low side for veg I think key is like 60% but I mist every couple of days with diamnond nector and fresh water alternating every other time so i dont get a buildup of nutes or film on the leaves. . .

Are you sure its salt or just similar symptoms to what I'm experiencing? If you know for sure that could help clarify for me that it is salt for sure. . .Im doubting the floranova line seems to have probs. . .

Your humidity is fine. You never want to be at 60% RH. The optimum humidity range for the vegetative phase is 40%-60%, but you never want to be at 60%. 45%-50% is the "sweet spot" for the vegetative phase. When you move into the flowering/bloom phase, you want to drop the humidity down below 40%, ideally you want it at 35% (for flowering).

Like I said before, you should be misting every day just prior to the dark period. I like the way you alternate between nutes and fresh water; I think that's a good idea. If you can, try to get some more pics of the problem(s). Multiple shots from different angles under good lighting would be great.
