I went outside and started examining my plant and it seems to me, some mold on one or two of the shade leaves.. and some spots on a few others, I'm posting some pics so I hope that helps.. also.. There's a hurricaine comming and I ahve to be gone saturday night or sunday morning, i'm not sure which one yet.. the only person I have to take care of it, is the friend that told me to put egg whites in my dirt.. which as we all know was a dumb thing to do.. anyway.. I don;t have anybody to really take care of it that I trust to do exsatcly as I say, and not decide to do their own thing with it.. I think i'm probably in the last two weeks of flowering because my hairs are starting to turn colors and some buds are even darker than the rest.. it's hard to tell from the pictures i'm posting, but they are.. what should I do.. should I go ahead and harvest with teh hopes of having something to show for my hard work, or should I bring it in and set it in a window, hope it gets the right amount of sunlight and that my friend doesnt kill it or steal it?

spots on the older fan leaves isn't a big issue when your getting into the later parts of flowering, what you have to make sure of is that your buds arn't molding pretty easy to tell cause they will look alot different than a healthy bud. but from the pics it looks like you still have a few weeks left , the hairs only give you an idea of how far along they are, to tell for sure you need to check the trich's

ooh ok, the trich's arent the hairs? Man I feel like an ass.. so what are the trich's?

the trich's are the little sugar looking things all over the buds and leaves comming out of the buds you need a magnifing lens or loup of some sort i use a hand held microscope 60-100x they are about 10-20 bucks at radio shack. at the very least the trich's should be completely milky colored, but most people like a 50/50 of milky and amber colored trich's i prefer a 75milky and 25% amber. as for the hurricane put the plant behind somthing that will break up the wind depending from what direction the storm is comming like if its comming from the east headed west, place the plant on the west side of something that isn't going to fall on your plant.

ok, i'm glad you responded, i was about to make a mistake and harvest.. so why are the hairs turning brownish? Too much sunlight?

ok, thanks... so look for the crystals to turn ember? The hairs are just hairs.. got it.. I have noticed some of my smaller leaves, closer to the buds were yellow.. but i'm not sure how old they are.. should I just pick them off, and what would b ethe down side of doing this?

if its a uniform yellowing of the leaves then i'd say your under nuting i havn't asked, but what are you using for nutes, how are you measuring them, are you using just the reccommendation on the lable or do you have a ppm/ec meter? and are you monitoring the ph?

naw, i'm not really using anything.. I was using a peach every now and then but had ran out and have nothing now.. I'm hoping to go toiday and get some nutes because I'm leaving for the hurricaine and have to leave it here in teh care of someone else.. who hopefully with alot of prayed and alot of luck, wont kill her..
