Default G-1 Update, are these female hairs?

Just took these pictures a few minutes ago and it looks like something other than leaves is starting to develop. Check these out. Any one know if it is for sure a female? Or do I need to wait longer to tell?

I believe I am seeing a preflower in the middle pic, there looks to be a blatant calyx and 2hairs(pistols).Looks female so far, more preflowers should start poppin out soon.

Should I wait to switch the light cycle? I am still on 18/6. Plus the plant isn't very tall, measured 9.75 inches today. I wanna get the most I can out of this plant.

i would let it get taller.. 10 inches would yield squat compared to a 24" plant.. that's my opinion - i have never grown indoors though...

I have 6 Sylvania 3000K, 1640 lumens per bulb and 105 Watt CFL with approx. 8000 lumens. My grow space is almost too small for a HID light, mainly cause I don't have the ventilation options.
