| | that's all I've heard and it sounds like there looking for someone to take the blame, but even though that dumbass jock dealer sold to a cop 20 times and managed to show no respect or care for his client, i don't think it is the drug dealers fault. I guess I'm just sick of all this shit landing on the suppliers instead of the dumbass peeps disrespecting the drug to the point of death.

| | As a fraternity member at another university I can say that this shit is going on at major universities across the country. The fraternity system pretty much sets up a perfect tree of loyal customers, who are trusted (and do alot of drugs). I have heard about this very earlier today, and was really disappointed, these theta chi are giving us the rest of fraternity members across the country a bad name.
I find it insane about how much drugs they found during their bust, but then again the drug life is insane at SDSU. I am sure that all of the dealers will be serving A LOT of time, as those quantities are nothing trivial, and bringing the firearms into the situation will just make their matters worse.
Using mass text messaging is a stupid fucking idea, and is practically an advertisement saying BUST ME. I hate to see people go down for drug related crimes, but if they are retarded enough to think they would never get caught for a drug business of that size, then they deserve every year they will spend in prison for assuming their infallibility. |

| | I think this is kind of blown out of proportion. SDSU has 34,000 students. The amount of stuff uncovered, while not minor, isn't really surprising for a "party school" of that size. I would suspect a six month DEA sting to be able to uncover a bit more than this, frankly. But that's just because the investigation was centered on the frats. And why? Because Mr. Weber desperately wants to get rid of them, his biggest obstacle to dropping SDSU's "party school" rep. And the fucking wanna be scarface morons couldn't have given him a better opportunity.

mythic | used to live in san diego, and of the 3 universities in that city sdsu was always making the news. parties, vandalism, fights, these were the frat guys. the community wanted a curfew on the frat houses, they even tried to close a couple of them down. |

You live near an airport, WTF did you expect? I agree it sucks for the community, but anyone who buys a home within a mile or two of a school that regularly makes national "best party school evah!" lists and then complains clearly should have done a little more research.

mythic | hey mythic, don't take it personally, i'm not trying to criticize the frats or the university, i'm just saying that it has been a problem university in the past and that it may be best for all if the university shunned that party moniker. |

I mean come on now, what college doesn't have parties? You know those Princeton and Harvard boys are doing lines of coke off of strippers backs. Its not like parties are going on in the classrooms.
