The news headline said huge pot bust made, lie. The stuff was found floating in the ocean, no one was around, no bust. Second thing, this had to be some of that crap we used to get back in the 60's and 70's for $35 an ounce. If you do your math you'll see the stuff was worth less than $450 a POUND! An ounce can cost that much today.
BOYNTON BEACH — City police took a bale of ocean-going marijuana into custody this afternoon.
An anonymous boater had called in a report of the illicit weed floating several miles offshore. The bale was seized for investigation by two responding officers.
It's not clear how much it's worth: The bale was too waterlogged to make that determination, police said.
