Police: 4-Year-Old Taught To Smoke marijuana By Mom

Mother Charged With Child Abuse

OMAHA, Neb. -- Police say a 4-year-old girl demonstrated to them how to smoke marijuana from a joint, a pipe and a bong -- and learned the techniques from her mother.
The mother, 25-year-old Lisa Schuchard, is charged with child abuse and could lose her daughter after being accused of teaching and encouraging the girl to smoke. She was arrested Feb. 12 and is being held on a $34,000 bond.
Her attorney, Douglas County Assistant Public Defender Doug Johnson, said he would not comment because he hadn't talked to Schuchard in depth.
Authorities said Child Protective Services received a complaint that the 4-year-old and a 2-year-old son of Schuchard were dirty and living in a filthy home that had drug paraphernalia around.
Police said the daughter told officers that Schuchard and her live-in boyfriend would offer her and her brother the marijuana, then laugh with friends when they smoked.
Authorities said the children have been placed in foster care.

I'm all for keeping it in the family but 4 is just a bit young. I guess this falls under the "What the hell were you thinking?!?!?!?" catagory

Lol...not bad for 'em but at that age you're already high on life 24 hours a day.
