i told my wife to stop buying hershey products. she came home the next day with a gallon of syrup. that was 2 gallons ago. sorry, the stuff is just good.

i think this would have happened to anyone mimicking their companies product. if i were to start a candy company with normal old everyday chocolate and them copy hersheys packaging, i'm pretty sure they would come after me.

we have to play fair. they do have a legitimate complaint.

They do not. Is not against the law to mimick companies, it is against the law to break trademark law. They have no trademark on the names given to the products the defendent has given his product that I know of. The only possible argument they have is likeness and packaging.

After looking at pictures of some of the seized items, it looks as though other corporations would have reason to sue as well. I mean that's Pepsi's logo right on his soda label. When I go food shopping, I always see the knock off cereals that resemble the more popular but they're packaging and naming aren't even as close to what he did. I think he could have came up with some original ideas instead of biting off a popular brand, or at least not made his packaging as close to their products.
If I said I was going to boycott them, I'd be lying.

Yeah i'm not sure i am gonna boycott hersheys. they've had my back too many times when i've had the munchies.

Jones'n Soda Pot Company's 7 DUB was da shiznit. If it hadn't been $25 a bottle i'd still be drinking it today. Reefers Peanut Butter Cups was the best Taint'd Brand out there.

Now my arguement to all of this is, will hershey's step in and fill the void left by taint'd? I think not. So unless Hersheys comes up with some Hash oil based alternatives like above incarcerated gentleman did, I'll be eating Snickers (Mars Company) In closing, triple fudge duncan hines brownies with 2oz's of ooeey gooeey goodness in every batch.
