Yeah, but most of that bud probably was going to clubs in the city. I can't remember the cops every going after SF growers this hard. It's expensive to grow in SF. Not a place that usually exports that much bud.

it's not the feds, it's the local police. they are all stealing power. it will get you in trouble every time.

Is it really only those stealing power? I heard this as well from someone at a grow shop in the area but i know that at least one of them was with someone who was not stealing power and was not going crazy i.e. going over numbers.... It's just so odd for the sunset to be targeted like this. I also heard that their targeting the asian mafia in the area with these busts and yet another person thinks that its because theres a new grow shop in the nieghborhood drawing too much attention, and now they are following people back from the shop to their houses which seems totally illegal.
It's just so strange when months ago someone told me that they are not busting the sunset for little grow ops that are following 215, the city for that matter, which makes complete sense when most growers in the city aren't really breaking the law, and in this economy we can't afford to be wasting efforts on stupid shit like this.

So i guess what I'm asking is does anybody know for sure if all the houses were tapping power and pge now has some way to find them, in which case this is a matter of people stealing power which makes me understand why this is all going on..... You don't steal power.... Is it just nieghbors getting super nosey all of a sudden and the cops are called which traditionally has been the way all shit happens? Three more houses got popped this week, two yestersay and one on tuesday i think. Two of them were big and breaking laws and one they found all sorts of meth and crack and guns nshit which makes me sorta think, good, I wouldn't want that in the nieghborhood either.... I donno, just really really wierd. I've been around the city for a while and have never heard of shit like this. Would make sense in some other town but not here. Before these recent busts I can remember hearing of about 3 or so over the past 2 years. Sounds like they are sweeping the neighborhood or something. I just remember hearing as well that they were walking by houses with sniffer dogs. WTF? I donno if i believe that. And in a related story I know of someone who got busted in the nieghborhood recently who got off with illegal search and seizure when they busted into the house looking for people who had climbed into the back yard. Case got dropped within the week and from my understanding, it was not a clear cut prop215 thing. I heard they got their shit back and everything. Anyways, I think I've ranted enough. Can someone comment more on what the fuck is going on? Thank you...

So since I posted the last topic, they busted into my house and I did 8 days before I got out. I was the smallest house I've heard of getting busted in the city and wasn't stealing power. Facing three felonies and everything even though I had made efforts to be totally legal.... Anyways, can people let me know what they have been hearing and if they know anything for sure about what is going on and how they are figuring all this shit out. I met my fucking neighbor in jail aswell who was busted the day before me. All bad. All bad.......

wow, starting to sound weird. i live in the bay area and haven't heard anything of this. i see a bust here or there on the news but i haven't heard about all this. it doesn't sound right.

i got the paper work and there were 64 plants. got conspiracy, cultivation, and possesion with intent. My life is all fucked up now. just tell anybody you know in the sunset to stop what they are doing or get there numbers down to 24 per card and have them posted on the wall visably. The cops even told me as I was getting arrested how to do it legally. They were like, "so what you do is stagger your growth such that you have some small, some medium, and some ready to go, that way your never close to breaking the plant limit or quantity limit....." Fucking corrupt ass cops to I'll tell you that much. They stole money from me. I'm really in the shit now. And my case is the smallest one I've heard of around here. Hopefully they drop it. And the real shit is that the day they got me I was planning on cleaning my place enough that it would have been legal by killing plants and getting rid of anyting else bad, stowing my money away and everything. Fucking brilliant timing huh.... Bastards.
