Seriously it could be at least 3-5 searches consecutively...

Like say that you messed up on your saerch (dum stoner) the first time and the second ant the third time you finally got it right that would not put that much more stress on the server to give a little...

Just don't be retarded the first time and you're good to go. It's fine how it is, keeps server load down and is mainly meant to prevent automated systems from raping the bandwidth I think. Plus, come on, how long is 20 seconds man?

It is meant for site security, there are several programs that can be made to harm or slow down the server, searching serves a heavy load on the system as it search's through thousands of posts for each word that you are looking for.

But would one or two more allowances really be that much more of a strain on a server...

I think an attack like that would still be hard or useless with 2 or 3 searches within 20 seconds...

Or can it even be set up like that easily... ??

Anyway i understand server strain is a concern... If it is a problem then we'll just have to live with it...
