ummm. theres a program I cant think of which one atm.....but it shows you what your friends are listening to on the pc....and i think that it lets you listen to it as well....
I think it would be cool as shit if we could do something like that eventually. It would defiantly be something that no other cannabis forum has. hell even if it were an elite only feature and you had to pay a lil bit more for it.
I mean i know a bunch of people like me in the fact that if there sitting @ the pc they are listening to music the whole time they are sitting there. As a matter of fact i rigged up a fire wire to go from the pc to the stereo so that i can use it like a jukebox. (as a matter of fact it has a 12" sub and 4-8" acoustic bass lens speakers, 3-3"tweeters. and i love the tuner to death cause it has 2 internal amps.

but for real what would it involve to do this? I would guess that windows media player would be the most widely used player to link together but its deff not the best and that may require having to deal with microsoft or something

not not nessacarly, but itb cool if we could have that option. i listen to all kinds of shit and itd be cool as hell to be able to open up a different variety of music that way. I mean we have a section for it but forum discussion isnt anything like anything similar to what im interested in.

We have rollitup radio on shoutcast.That's all we need.

What,Me Worry??

I use a wireless setup to stream music from my puter to my home system and also video from my puter to my tv so I can control everything with a wireless keyboard from my couch so I dont need the wires as they get in the way.Now to have an open interface where people can see what your listening to or link to your playlist would open a huge security hole similar to the one dummies who use limewire or bear share as people can follow your open streams right to your home puter and address and also then access your harddrive and even add a simple sniffer or program like eblaster which send all your keystrokes. passwords, screen shots and connection right to me or who ever..Do you really want me or leo hanging inside your harddrive without you knowing it?

my ip is hidden. well not hidden necessarily hidden, but it wouldent be worth the trouble in everything it would take to find the real one.
and my computers scans would pick up any trackers installed like that.

and the easiest way to get most music is through you tube. I use the youtube downloader to download whatever video that I want then convert the audio from the video into mp3 format.
