    The smilies on this site are.....well.......kind of out of date. Any way we could get a better selection of the newer ones? They're pretty bad.

    I tend to agree with BFOB - they are kind of bland and listless.
    Check out a site called nyroc (.com) - they have some really rocking "Smilies".
    Can something like that be integrated?

    Smilies are annoying.

    Some people feel the need to put in 10 per paragraph and it makes me feel like it's 1997 and I'm in Yahoo chat.

    Well, anything can be annoying when it's overused. I think emoticons are a useful way to make sure that your post is not misunderstood, so I will look into getting some additional options.
