The only reason I would (Not that I am, nor would I) would be for height situations. Plus, I was in a competition using a coffee can (DWC Method) but the little girls perished. :-(

Hey cer..just wondering..was the misspelling in your avatar intentional? Or has your screen name been wrong all this time? lol

I wondered the very same, as when I first started posting here in Maine to Cerberus, I had to keep looking at my paper with the spelling. And all this time, I thought it was just me :-) LMAO
Too Friggen funny :-)

Need to ask something ... I have read several posts on "Taking Seed to 12/12" and a lot of these growers are getting very favorable results. Would this be the same in taking a clone and going straight to Flowering with a 12/12 Light Schedule?"
if you take a clone straight to flowering, you are going to find that you will have problems with yield even when compared to 12:12 from seed... clones HAVE to have the time in veg to get over being cloned... the shock (even with vitamin e, d supplements ect) can and will kill the plant long before you get around to harvesting...

I bred dr grinspoon with a white widow male a few weeks back.. today I found two seeds.. i'm pretty stoked to find out what happens.. I also forced a nanner from the dr.g and pollinated my mob , and hope it takes.. that could be neat.. peace

Quick Q. If someone were to ask what the medicinal benefits of MOB are, what would you say? I personally don't smoke or ingest, as I'm not a patient. So I'd love to hear from folks who do use MOB what they're using it for. Thanks!

Nice !! :-) Great work there Organicness. So I take it the only thing that you used were CalNite and Epsom Salts. Period. I guess I will have to further study that combination. To me, less is always better. When one starts getting into getting this, that, and the other thing, something just doesn't gel the way it is supposed to.

Love it ... Simple. Clean. Beautiful Results :-)

Hey MY. I used Jack's Hydroponic Formula, Calcium Nitrate, and Epsom Salts. I use about 1.0 EC of Hydro, .5-.6 EC of CalNite and .1 EC of Epsom salts. Keeps my ppm's puurrty low compared to others, and costs about 7-8 dollars in nutrients per pound of finished product. Thanks for the kind words!

The BW isn't blue?
I just grew one from seed, a freebie from Attitude. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't really blue during flower. I think it might be more blue if grown in cooler temps, especially just before harvest.

Such was the case with some Strawberry Diesel I had in the same crop. The pic that came with the seeds showed a very reddish purple plant. They didn't show much color until I moved them to the cutting room which is much cooler. After a couple days in the dark they purpled up nicely.

Having a Maine Moment here ... What is an EC?

I think PPM and EC are two measurements. Of what I don't know (well I know PPM). :)

My lucky butt has accomplished two grows without taking a single reading. One of these days my luck will run out, maybe I will be set up before then. :)

ec is electric conductivity... most euro zone (and canadian) growers use ec instead of ppm... the meters work very similarly (if not exactly the same,) by measuring dissolved solids in a solution... ppm meters measure Parts Per Million in a given solution: ec uses the ease of which electricity can be conducted by passing electricity through a sample of water, calculating how the level of dissolved minerals in said sample... different sides of the same coin...

So can someone break this down for me? Per gallon of H20, ph in the range of 5.5 to 5.7 (That has been what I have been getting for readings thus far) Lights are 150 MH for veg, and 400 HPS for flowering. Need anything else to get the breakdown? Thanks in advance as always :-)

nl's totally dialed on this. Hanna ppm meters measure in EC and have a conversion hardwired into the unit.. :/ so it literally finds the EC then converts that to ppms.. (parts per million)

maineyankee, i can't
