this is the retarded rational we are up against. go be an alcoholic, according to her. i dont drink alcohol, i do use marijuana medically, even if it wasnt medicinal i would still enjoy it, just like everyone else that enjoys a nice glass of wine. why is it you can legaly get drunk, but cant legaly enjoy something that isnt as dangerous as alcohol or cigarettes? can we please end the prohibition like they did with alcohol? please?

I agree man, booze kills more people than weed does, i was at our town fair last weekend and asked a cop if he would rather deal with a drunk or a guy on weed and he said a drunk, i laughed my ass off....of course he was giving the politically correct answer but i just laughed at him...Its freakin nuts that this is illegal .

I went to the Redding site and logged in, gave a brief summary of her ignorance, and signed off. These fucking people get to say anything they want as fact?! ... but it was "priceless" to see all the educated rebuffs of her moralist bullshit along with links to all sorts of documented studies showing the exact opposite of her screwed up beliefs. lol

Yes it is. And we're BARELY making headway against it. Which makes me want to drop to my knees and cry tears of blood!

I believe the key here is vigilance. Never think "Oh, no one will take THAT idiot seriously." Never give any opponent an inch here. Any time they spew forth more lies, we need to be right there to call bullshit on them.

And I think, as a whole, we're doing a good job on that. I'm very proud to see all the posts that completely dressed her down.

so it's the year 1820 and we see a white politician making a speech to a bunch of Native Americans in a pasture - "We are going to treat you all fairly. Your tribes will be taken care of." he says. The Indians excitedly jump to their feet and yell "Oom-pa! Oom-pa!" So the politician goes on. "America is going to give you land and resources! We have treaties that we will uphold." "Oompa oompa!" they all shout. The speech goes on and everyone is still shouting OOMPA OOMPA so he finishes and walks off the stage feeling pretty good. Oh my, I had to register on that site to comment after reading the post by the person with a friend who works in a hydro shop. The friend complained about the type of people who frequented the workplace. Had to explain why those people shopped there.

Basically they go there to get stuff to grow an illegal product, MJ, because of the profits it brings. I also pointed out that if it were legalized the need for "those people" to frequent the friends workplace would be eliminated.

We still have not learned the lesson of prohibition in the 30's, same issues, same results. You create the very crime element that you are trying to erradicate by prohibiting a product that people want. Without prohibition there would never have been a need for the FBI. Now because of MJ and other "drugs" the government has increased its size and power, and blown multi billions of dollars and created new powers and departments such as the DEA, ATF, Drug Czar's etc... All of these new departments and powers with the same results, prohibition was a bust, and this "war on drugs" is just as much a bust.

And let's not forget the latest, Department of Homeland Security. All under the guise of protecting it's citizens. We need to be vigilant, and let them know that we will no longer stand for them creating "issues" to increase their power. In other words, we need to stop being so gullible!
